Since 2010, Nordbygg’s Gold Medal has been awarded to the year’s most innovative product, and now the nominees for the 2025 award are revealed. The Gold Medal is presented by Nordbygg and Svensk Byggtjänst. Over the next ten weeks, the finalists will be introduced one by one here on Nordbygg.se, but we can already reveal the ten selected products.
Previous winners include Nordsjö Evolve Recycled, a partially recycled paint from Nordsjö, and the Hilti Exoskeleton.
Here are the 2025 finalists, listed without ranking:

- Ateljé Lyktan AB – Superdupertube – A hemp-based lamp for a brighter future
- Plannja AB – Plannja Trend/Plannja Sinus – Roof and facade profiles made from recycled steel
- Heidelberg Materials Precast Contiga AB – Håldäck HD/F 120/15 – Reduced material usage with thinner hollow-core slabs
- Smartax Byggmaterial AB – Smartax Interior Wall – Interior wall system with a low CO2 footprint
- gop Sverige AB – Polygood® – Giving plastic waste a second life
- TECCA AB – FormPlate – Casting board made from corrugated cardboard
- Kiilto AB – Debonding on Demand – The adhesive that makes waste recyclable
The jury
This year’s jury members are Lina Hann (Nordbygg), Jenny Svärd (Byggmaterialindustrierna), Ingar Lindholm and Anna Göth (Svensk Byggtjänst), and Karin Larén (Hallström PR), who serves as the jury’s secretary.
A new addition to the jury panel this year is climate specialist Alexander Landborn from Nodon.
