Starting in January, 2023, Installatörsföretagen (the Installation Companies) becomes a member of the Nordbygg organising group.

– We believe in collaboration. Together, we can lift the industry and focus on the important issues for the future, such as energy efficiency, electrification, new climate systems and the supply of skills.
Nordbygg’s organising group is a board of dedicated industry actors, who ensure the topicality and content of Northern Europe’s largest and most important meeting place for the construction and property industry.
Installatörsföretagen now becomes a new member of the group and thereby increases its commitment to Nordbygg 2024.
– We work to lift the industry on a daily basis. We strongly believe in collaboration and to help each other out from one industry to another. Nordbygg is a place where our members are, and were we have participated for several years. It feels natural for us to now take another step and take a seat in the organising group, says Ola Månsson, CEO at Installatörsföretagen.
Lina Hann, project manager at Nordbygg, welcomes the newcomer:
– We are happy about Installatörsföretagens’ commitment to Nordbygg. Their members are indeed in the centre of events for society’s largest challenges. To have their knowledge to build on leading up to Nordbygg will contribute further to a relevant and pressing content, says Lina Hann.
Major issues of the future
To Installatörsföretagens’ members, the major issues of the future are energy efficiency, electrification, new climate systems and supply of skills. The recession has an impact, but perhaps less in this particular sub-industry than in others.
Regardless of the economic situation, a reduced climate footprint must be prioritized, Ola Månsson claims.
– Working with energy efficiency is one of the most important tools to achieve the climate goals. This can be a economic stabiliser and will continue to be a major issue for Nordbygg 2024, Ola Månsson says.
Ensuring topicality
The other members of the organising group are Byggmaterialindustrierna (The building material industries), Glasbranschföreningen (the Glass Industry Association), VVS Fabrikanterna (HVAC producers) and Energi- och Miljötekniska föreningen, EMTF (the Energy and Environmental Technology Association) and Svensk Ventilation (Swedish Ventilation).
– Our organising group means a lot to us, it ensures that we have our ear to the ground and cover all the most topical and important issues for the Swedish public construction sector. Let’s work together towards some really great content for Nordbygg 2024, says Lina Hann, project manager.
Installatörsföretagen, alongside Nordbygg, are also a co-organiser of Fastighetsenergi 2023 (Property Energy), the arena of future-proof buildings which is held on April 25. Energieffektiviseringsföretagen (the Energy Efficiency Companies) are also there as a program partner.
