Nearly 900 exhibitors from 25 countries filled the three halls at Stockholmsmässan on 21–24 April. Total attendance at Nordbygg 2026 reached 35,000.

Rebookings were already in full swing during the fair, indicating continued strong interest ahead of Nordbygg 2028, says Lina Hann, Director of Events and Exhibitions at Stockholmsmässan.
Nordbygg is, without comparison, the largest meeting place for professional stakeholders in the construction and property sectors in the Nordic region. No other event offers the same breadth and international perspective, with products and services covering the entire value chain and all segments within construction and real estate.
This year’s edition attracted 31,000 visitors. In total, 900 companies participated as exhibitors, alongside all leading industry organisations and associations, as well as public sector bodies such as Boverket and Specialfastigheter. The seminar programme featured as many as 250 sessions across five stages.
The professional focus means that a significant share of business is conducted directly between exhibitors. Including representatives from exhibiting companies, total participation amounted to 35,000 people.
Nordbygg har under decennier byggt upp en stark förankring i branschen genom en engagerad arrangörsgrupp bestående av Installatörsföretagen, Byggmaterialindustrierna, VA & VVS-Fabrikanterna, Energi- och Miljötekniska Föreningen, EMTF, Svensk Ventilation och Glasbranschföreningen.
Over the decades, Nordbygg has established a strong position within the industry through a committed organising group consisting of Installatörsföretagen, Byggmaterialindustrierna, the Swedish Water & Wastewater Association (VA & VVS-Fabrikanterna), the Energy and Environmental Technology Association (EMTF), Svensk Ventilation and the Swedish Glass Association.
Interest in the next event is already strong. Rebookings began before the exhibition week had ended and reached levels above the norm.
Most of our exhibitors tend to rebook immediately. This year, we saw an unusually high number wanting to secure their preferred location even before the fair had closed, which is very encouraging ahead of Nordbygg 2028, concludes Lina Hann.
