Ahlsell is a well-known name for most Nordbygg visitors, but it has been a long time since the company exhibited under its own banner. Now, Ahlsell is choosing to highlight its project logistics solution as both an economic and sustainable complement. Here, Division Manager Karin Krüger and Logistics Specialist Jon Svensson explain why logistics has become a strategic issue for the industry.
Ahlsell will be located in the entrance hall, right by the A Hall entrance. There, they will create an environment that showcases their project logistics offering in practice. The focus is on demonstrating how smart deliveries, structured flows, and digital tools can simplify and improve customers’ processes.
Visitors will meet logistics experts and employees who work closely with Ahlsell’s customers in projects within new construction, renovation (ROT), and property management.
Value-added services
Ahlsell has long enabled efficient product deliveries to its customers, but the focus has gradually shifted towards value-added services that complement distribution.

– This is the development we want to highlight, and the main reason why we are now taking the step to present our full offering at Nordbygg 2026, says Karin Krüger, Division Manager for Facility & Retail, which includes the business areas of construction, property, and retail. She continues:
– Nordbygg is the construction and real estate sector’s largest and most important meeting place. This is where innovation, partnerships, and decisions take shape. We are in the process of positioning ourselves as a strategic partner rather than just a product supplier. This is the right context to demonstrate how we create efficiency in our customers’ processes.
The entire value chain in one place
During her years at Ahlsell, Karin Krüger has visited Nordbygg many times, often together with customers from across the country. She believes Nordbygg has evolved over time:
At Nordbygg, the plan is to meet customers and suppliers, property owners, project and construction contractors, installation companies, public sector stakeholders, operations managers, and various partners.
At Nordbygg, the plan is to meet customers and suppliers, property owners, project and construction contractors, installation companies, public sector stakeholders, operations managers, and various partners.
– There are few forums where stakeholders from the entire value chain meet in one place. Nordbygg therefore becomes a natural meeting point to connect, exchange insights, and build relationships that can lead to innovation and business opportunities. We will also be hosting a large networking event, where all our industry contacts can meet and connect — something I am really looking forward to, says Karin Krüger.
Sharing knowledge

During Nordbygg, Jon Svensson, Head of Project Logistics at Ahlsell, will give a presentation on the optimized supply chain and project logistics.
– It’s about creating sustainability in three dimensions for our customers: financial, through the positive impact the investment has on the project; environmental, where consolidated deliveries reduce the local climate impact; and safety, as well-planned project logistics reduce risk factors such as the number of trucks, unloading resources, and heavy lifting, explains Jon.
“Loves logistics”
The presentation is aimed at a broad audience – from procurement managers and site managers to supervisors and other decision-makers. Even those who are not particularly familiar with logistics have much to gain from understanding how inefficient flows impact the overall project.
– I love logistics – it’s incredibly rewarding and has a major impact on a project’s final outcome. When logistics evolves from being just a transport solution into a logistics chain that is well integrated with production, it can instead become a strategic asset. That is what we want to demonstrate and share more about at Nordbygg 2026, says Jon Svensson.
